Push is a focused outreach event where a group of believers canvasses a specific area over a set period to identify People of Peace—individuals who welcome prayer, listen to Bible stories, and express a desire to share these stories with their friends and family. These People of Peace, who often wouldn't attend a traditional church, play a pivotal role in forming Disciple Making Movements (DMMs), serving as catalysts for spreading the gospel in their own unchurched communities. 

Push is organized and run by GreatCommission.com, an independent ministry dedicated to showing people how to make disciples who, in turn, make disciples.

​Pray 

Ask God to help us find People of Peace—those eager to discover more about Him and who will help their friends and family do the same. These individuals are essential for igniting a Disciple Making Movement. Take time now to ask God for this, and continue praying whenever He brings it to mind.

Train

Attend one or more upcoming PUSH training events. Our meeting places move as we cover more houses so check back for the latest location. If you have not done so already, take three minutes and read through Pyayer Walk to become familiar with the concept. The training is low-key, accommodating anyone—whether you're just observing or fully participating. The trainings are excellent opportunities to catch the vision and spread it among your friends and church. The trainings also equip you to train new participants in the coming weeks.

Push

The next Push will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. No prior experience is required. We will meet at 1:00 PM sharp at "The Point," 1235 M. Street, Modesto, CA 95354. There, we'll pray and organize into teams. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we will Prayer Walk our assigned neighborhood, returning to the starting location for a time of sharing "God stories" and enjoying pizza and dessert from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Disciple

Identifying a Person of Peace is just the beginning of the disciple-making process. The next steps are teaching them Discovery Bible Study (DBS) and to Coach them to multiply.
