The Seven Sails is training for those who already have a working understanding of Discovery Bible Study (DBS). If DBS is new to you, start there first. Learning to facilitate a DBS will help you understand—and live out—the principles of The Seven Sails far more effectively.
Disciple-Making Movements are driven by seven essential elements, pictured as sails. A sailboat doesn’t move until its sails are raised and the wind fills them. In the same way, movements begin when we raise the sails and trust God’s Spirit to provide the wind.
Our part is simple: faithful steps of obedience. God’s part is powerful: He moves the work forward by His Spirit.
The Seven Sails journey is simple, practical, and life-changing. Begin by walking through it yourself. Then invite a friend—or a small group—who are ready to make disciples and go through it together. Meeting once a week works best, giving space to practice each step.
So—are you ready?
Let’s raise the sails and watch God move.
