THE SEVEN SAILS TRAINING

The Seven Sails is a training designed for those who have already gained a solid understanding of Discovery Bible Study (DBS). If you’re not yet familiar with this essential disciple-making tool, it’s highly recommended that you begin there first. Learning to facilitate a DBS will help you grasp—and apply—the principles of The Seven Sails far more effectively.

Disciple-Making Movements are powered by seven essential elements—pictured as sails. A sailboat only moves when its sails are raised and the wind fills them. In the same way, movements take off when we lift the sails and let God’s Spirit provide the wind.

Our role is simple: raise the sails through faithful steps of obedience. God’s role is unstoppable: He moves the vessel forward by His Spirit.

The Seven Sails journey is life-changing yet straightforward. Start by reading through it yourself today. Then gather a friend—or a small group—who are ready to make disciples and walk through it together. Meeting once a week is best, giving space to put each action step into practice.

So—are you ready? Let’s raise the sails and watch God move!
