Casting vision is simply telling what God is doing—and inviting others in. Whether it’s over coffee or in front of a group, nothing connects like a good God story. When you share how you’ve seen Him at work in disciple-making, it stirs faith and sparks curiosity.
From there, the next step is natural. Ask, “Want to learn how to make disciples too?” That’s when you’ll notice the ones God’s already preparing. They don’t want to sit on the sidelines. They’re ready to get in the game and learn how to multiply disciples.
All you have to do is share, invite—and watch who leans in.

the muslim world
Read each passage aloud again and substitute the word Mulsim for Gentiles. What is your response to that?
Did you know that one of the fastest-growing underground churches in the world is in Iran?
Multiple sources affirm that Iran is home to the fastest-growing church in the world, essentially existing underground due to extreme persecution.
Estimates indicate that over a million individuals from Muslim backgrounds have converted in Iran, with some estimates placing the number between 1 million and 3 million, and an annual growth rate of over 5%.
Why do you suppose this is?

TESTIMONY
Ask one or more people to read the following aloud.
My journey into disciple-making movements (DMM) began unexpectedly—on a Zoom call a few years ago. As the meeting wrapped up, a pastor from a multi-site church in the Pacific Northwest shared a story that changed his life.
In the middle of deep ministry exhaustion one day, he sensed the Lord breaking through with a piercing question:
“Why are you doing My job?”
Startled, he asked, “Lord, what do You mean?”
Gently, God reminded him:
“I told you I would build My church (Matthew 16:18). You’re wearing yourself out trying to do what only I can do.”
He was right. The church’s rent and leases alone topped $30,000 a month—before staff or programs. Then came a second question:
“What is your job?”
The answer was simple and convicting:
“To make disciples.”
“Exactly,” God said. “How about you let Me do My job—and you do yours?”
That conversation changed everything. The pastor shifted his focus from sustaining an institution to multiplying disciple-makers. His life—and his church—haven’t been the same since.
I tried to follow up with him, but he was leaving for vacation. While I waited (impatiently), I stumbled on an interview with another pastor—this one from San Diego. Different city, same story. He too had sensed God’s gentle correction: affirming his love and effort but pressing one issue--making disciples. He realized he’d missed the main point.
At the end of that interview, the host asked for a book recommendation. Without hesitation, the pastor replied:
“From Megachurch to Multiplication by Chris Galanos.”
I ordered it immediately and read it within days—then reread it. The book confirmed what I’d just heard from the Portland pastor.
I called the San Diego pastor to learn more.
“You need to get trained,” he said.
“There’s training?” I asked.
He pointed me to the free, eight-week DMM training from eLife. I signed up, completed it, and since then, I’ve devoted myself to making disciples—using simple, reproducible tools that anyone can learn and pass on.
As you read this, what do you sense God saying to you?
Are you a pastor or ministry leader wearing yourself out trying to do what only God can do--build His church?
Are you pouring energy into the wrong things? Are you making disciples who make disciples?
Or are you a believer with a holy, healthy discontent—someone who loves Jesus but has never been clearly shown how to make disciples?
If so, I invite you to join a free, eight-week online training offered by Experience Life (eLife). Across the country, ordinary believers are stepping into the Great Commission with fresh clarity and joy—making disciples who, in turn, make disciples.
This isn’t just important.
It’s the most strategic, rewarding, and satisfying mission any follower of Jesus can pursue.
