FREE DISCUSSION GUIDES

Welcome

This discussion guide is for book clubs and small groups who want to explore themes of truth, faith, and purpose through story. Each week's questions invite honest conversation—about life, about the heart, and about what God might be saying through both. Use it freely. Share it widely. And may your time together spark friendship and fresh discovery along the way.

How It Works

Plan to meet once a week for five weeks. Make sure everyone has a copy of the book in whatever format works best for them.

If you’d like a gentle beginning, consider a “Week 0” gathering. Share why you’re looking forward to the journey, hand out books, enjoy some food, and build connections before the discussions begin.

Read the assigned stories before each meeting. Coming prepared keeps the conversation grounded and gives everyone a shared starting point.

Feel free to read ahead on your own, but try to keep group conversations centered on the week’s reading so no one feels left behind.

You don’t need to cover every question. The real value isn’t in completing a list—it’s in the stories people tell, the connections they make, and the insights that emerge together.

The questions don’t need to be followed in order. If the group is drawn into a deeper or more meaningful conversation, let it unfold.

Anyone can facilitate. No expertise required. A quick look at the questions beforehand is helpful, but not essential. Invite others to take turns guiding the conversation, and encourage everyone to download the free discussion here at GreatCommission.com.

Above all, remember: this isn’t a book review. The goal isn’t critique—it’s connection.

Just click on the book you’re reading to find the discussion questions for that title.

Tip: Ending your final session with a shared meal is a simple and meaningful way to celebrate the journey you’ve taken together.
